20 Weeks!
So I just got an email yesterday saying that I'm 20 weeks and half-way through my pregnancy!
Yahoo!
It's funny how with my first I knew how far along I was to the day and now I can barely remember what week I'm in -- thank goodness for my weekly emails!
And yes, my baby is supposedly the size of a banana, from head to rump. So. . .maybe my baby actually looks like this...
but I hope not.
The only pregnancy complaint I have at the moment are the charlie-horse cramps that wake me up, clutching my calf every night. I read on the internet that those cramps are your body's way of revolting against the extra weight you're carrying. . . okay. . . I haven't put on that much yet so I'm scared to see what revolting goes on when I'm actually big! Not a fun thought.
And next week will be the big ultrasound week.
boy or girl?
I'll let you know as soon as I do.
But for now I'm going to go lay down and put my feet up because my whole body's aching from some serious tile/grout scrubbing that went on this morning! But it definitely looks good and was worth it. That's the good thing about having guests come for the holidays -- it motivates you to do more things in your house that you would have otherwise put off.

That banana picture freaks me out. If that's what your child looks like, I'm seriously frightened. Our babies are big! When I went in to my ultrasound they said that my boy was 8 oz. So find out how much your baby weighs and we can compare.
My baby I think looks more like a taco. At my ultrasound they couldn't get her to move her feet from her forehead.
I can't believe you didn't take a picture of your grout after all that hard work!
And I CAN'T WAIT to hear what kind of baby you're having! Then we can shop!
Congratulations on being half there. Do you get your info from babycenter.com? I loved getting e-mails every week. I think it's funny that they compare the size of your baby to food. My favorite was finding out Ryley was as big as a kumquat.
I can't wait to hear what you are having!
I love the news of baby being the
size of fruit! a lemon, an apple,
a banana! I remember looking up the
info each week in the prego book
with my littles - so exciting ;)
Mandi, congrats on your 3rd baby and your fabulous new house and location with your sis! Ran into your blog somehow, I don't remember how, but it is good to hear you are loving life!

I've heard that sometimes the charlie horses are caused by lack of potassium, so you might want to eat a real banana and see if that helps! I can't wait for your ultrasound! I'm rooting for a girl, but I always do.
